Mezzanine floors can transform a space and offer increased storage and floor area, maximising potential. Mezzanines can, at minimum, double your pre-existing floor area below; allowing you to utilise space, be more flexible in your office, warehouse or product showrooms, whilst remaining in the same envelope of a building.
Dependant on building type, mezzanine floors rarely require planning permission and can allow you to develop existing, otherwise redundant space, without the additional expense involved in the laborious, time-consuming planning process. They are constructed to comply with local building regulations and structural evaluation and can include pallet gates (for ease of forklift loading), handrails (for worker fall prevention) and staircases for pedestrian access. They can be installed in a relatively small time frame, compared to other building practices, whilst aiding expansion of a business with a quick turnaround.
We also offer a number of floor types and thicknesses (such as tongue and groove) dependant on loading requirements, all of which can be covered in a surface finish of your choice. We can also install any necessary structural or cold rolled steel to enable development of existing floors too, and provide handrails and gates to suit new or current installs.
