Gas Leak?

Gas leak advice from National GAS Emergency Service.

If you can smell gas, call 0800 111 999 to report to the National GAS Emergency Service.

What should you do if you smell gas?

  1. Call 0800 111 999.
  2. Open windows and doors to ventilate the area.
  3. Turn off gas supply to meter.
  4. Turn off all gas appliances.
  5. Don’t use light switches, doorbells or any electrical switches.
  6. Don’t Smoke, light matches, or use cigarette lighters.

Water Leak?

If you are suffering a water leak, isolate the supply to the premises via the stop tap. This is usually found below the kitchen sink, at the entrance to the drive or within the street pathway or boundary.
